ARES. Environment of violence
The exhibition with recent ink drawings, shown here for the first time, will be complemented by older large-format etchings and sculptures. The selection of works proves again that the subject of violence in the context of wars has been a recurring theme in the artist’s oeuvre for decades. This is illustrated by his examination of the human body whose existence he explores in ever new cycles both sculpturally and graphically.
